Classes have been divided into two age groups, Seniors and Juniors

Senior Classes

For a period of time, students practice the grading requirements, with consistent training students may progress to a higher level through the same ranking system as the junior grades.

There are many senior grades who have been attending for many years and help assist the lower grades. Classes are conducted with a strong sense of etiquette and respect for those in the dojo.

Bunkai, kata and kumite are practiced equally and the senior grades are encouraged to search for a higher level of technique and understanding, rather than restricting themselves to kata's form, set applications, and 'touch' karate.

Junior Classes

For children from 4 years, the junior classes are balanced with basic karate understanding and fun.

The children are introduced to a level of discipline realistic for today's environment. They are encourage to interact and socialise with others of the same age group, to think for themselves and apply a degree of concentration.

As with the karate tots, it improves confidence, communication skills and coordination.
